Continental Motors, Detroit

Here's an old one. These are the last buildings of the large Continental Motors plant. The place? Very torn apart. Half of the building's structure and parts are gone took about ten years.

It was a tight squeeze in, at least somebody left a hole for themselves and others.

The last of the motor testing rooms. They got fenced recently because some company wants to store their shipping containers outside. Not sure why they fenced it off though.

The neighboring hallway isn't much different. A bit wider though.

This is architecture feels insane, you never see things like this anywhere else.

Even the odd circular ones are interesting.

The back entrance. It leads to the main building. Thanks fence benders.

Who the hell is dumping all these sacks in this bottom floor?

These were definitely mounts for machinery.

The hallway will also lead you to the grassy, ceiling-less floor above the testing rooms.

And skip a boring floor and end up on the roof. Countless ventilation systems.

That's the boiler building right there. Cool they added little rope-railings for safety.
